Some information about me
I am a staff member of the University of California at Riverside Physics Department, where I am in charge of the physics lecture demonstrations. I design them, build them, repair them, and set them up for the classes held at UC Riverside. I am intensely interested in astronomy and physics and try to keep current on major and interesting developments in these fields. I give talks on astronomy and physics to school groups, astronomy clubs, and audiences of the general public. I also put on physics demonstration shows for these groups. I am active on the Internet's Astro and Skeptic listserv mailing groups. I live in the Idyllwild, California area, which is surrounded by the San Bernardino National Forest. At 6000 feet elevation, it is an excellent area for amateur astronomy and hiking, both of which I enjoy doing.
